The UNC Pembroke A.D. Gallery will present the 15th Annual International Juried Exhibition, Belonging, on view February 12 through March 6, 2026.

This year’s exhibition explores the theme of belonging at a time when cultural divisions and questions of inclusion are increasingly visible. Through a wide range of artistic media and perspectives, the exhibition asks: What does it mean to belong? Why does it matter? And how do individuals and communities find a sense of connection in an evolving world?

The exhibition features work by artists from across the country and beyond, selected through an international juried process. Participating artists include Jane Cheek, Arvid Choudhury, Juan Carlos, Duron Martinez, Sandro Gebert, Milton Gore, Kara Greenwell, Travis Hicks, Camila Hojas Cuervo, Luke Huling, Terence Ingram, Dong Kyu Kim, Roopa Kosuri, Andrew McIntyre, Ethan McKellar, Joyce Melander, Zaire Miles-Moultrie, Kasia Ozga, Millian Giang Pham, Vince Quevedo, Anna Nazaretz Radjou, Miranda Reichhardt, Kelli Nolen Scott, Katie Simmons, Shyun Song, Robert Spahr, Anne Stagg, Randall Steinke, Ruijingya Tang, Sarah Valinezhad, Caroline Ward and KR Windsor.

The exhibition is juried by Annah Lee, a visual arts professional with more than a decade of experience in curatorial practice and arts administration in Raleigh. Lee currently serves as manager of the Holly Springs Cultural Center. She holds a master’s degree in art history and completed doctoral coursework at UNC-Chapel Hill. Lee’s work emphasizes community relevance, technical mastery and art’s role in examining contemporary cultural issues.

The A.D. Gallery is in Locklear Hall and is open to the public. Admission is free. For more information about the exhibition and gallery hours, visit uncp.edu/art-gallery.
